Anyone who knows Claire and Richard will know their passion, drive and unmistakable North-Eastern wit. When they decided to take the leap and start out on their own in 2008, they lived by a simple mantra:
A dream written down becomes a goal. A goal broken into steps becomes a plan. A plan backed by action becomes reality.
What grew from that decision is remarkable: from 19 cows and £20,000 to a herd carrying genetics with potential far beyond the farm gate. Yet HighHopes has never really been about numbers or headlines. It has been a passion project, sustained by an extraordinary number of people along the way.
Progress does not happen in a vacuum.
The most important part of this journey has always been the people, friendships and memories made around the cattle. On 30 July, the family would love you to join them not simply for a sale, but to celebrate the journey here at home — where it all happened.
